Senior Business Analyst
|
Summary
Location: Los Angeles
Are you a business analyst with several years experience in full lifecycle software development and analyzing business processes?
Have you created software requirements specifications and test plans? Do you know how to manage a software product launch?

Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for:
Analyzing customer business processes
Working with clients to identify required product changes and improvements.
Creating business/market requirements documentation
Creating functional product design specifications and use cases and iterating
on them with our Development team
Maintaining databases for requirements and specifications
Managing User Acceptance Testing, including producing test plans and cases
Creating and managing alpha, beta and pilot test programs
Managing new software launches
Assisting with enforcing project deadlines and schedules
What you need!
BA/BS or equivalent. Computer Science/Technology/Finance/Technical Writing
4+ years experience as a business analyst, ideally with some management experience.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing complex design and technical issues as well as
business and product requirements clearly and succinctly.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, proficient in Power point, Visio, Word, and Excel.
Ability to develop Use Cases and work flow models
General understanding of database modeling/design concepts and object oriented
Design/Analysis strongly preferred.
Software as a service and/or document management experience highly desirable.
Strong background in business Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
complex design and technical systems analysis, focusing on planning, analysis
and design phases of the product development lifecycle.
Experience of more than one of the following: Development Methodologies,
Application Development, Application Delivery and/ or Systems Integration.
Application Development and/or Financial market experience a big plus
