Gerard Murphy
Director of Application Development

Gerard joined BMC Group in 2007 with over 15 years experience working in Software Development and Architecture and Project Management for Fortune 100 companies. Gerard brings a wide range of expertise utilizing latest technologies and applying scalable methodologies for software development.

As Director Application Development, Gerard is responsible for integrating his process and methodology background in software development and management into BMC Group products and development lifecycle.

Gerard has extensive experience of managing offshore development teams and is knowledgeable in the opportunities and challenges arising from developing software products and solutions offshore.

Prior to joining BMC Group, Gerard was with SnapOn Business Solutions where he developed and managed custom software solutions at American Honda, Toyota, Ford Motor Company, Nissan and JPMP.

Gerard earned his Computer Degree in Cape Town, South Africa.
