Matthew Morris

Matthew Morris has over eight years of experience in project management, design, and implementation in both technical and management consulting engagements. Since joining BMC Group in 2005, Matt has led over 100 virtual data room implementations as a project manager in locations throughout North America, Asia and Europe. Matt is also actively involved in the product development, resource training and business development aspects of BMC Group’s M&A practice.
Before joining BMC Group, Matt worked for ICF International as a project manager for a variety of environmentally-focused, management consulting engagements. This included work on the California Energy Commission’s Small Commercial and Industrial HVAC and Lighting Demand Response Program, which encouraged the curtailment of peak energy loads, both in response to system emergencies and on a permanent basis. He also assisted in the collection of greenhouse gas emissions inventory for a variety of organizations throughout the United States.
Previously, Matt worked with Plus Consulting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he planned and executed several software application implementations, in addition to serving as project manager for a large-scale, company re-organization and process standardization initiative for a worldwide metals manufacturer.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with an additional major in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Science in Policy and Management from the Heinz School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
