Rex Eaman
Senior Operations Manager-Americas
Rex Eaman comes to BMC Group with over 15 years of experience in IT and IT Product Management. He has worked on projects from development through implementation of proprietary software and management of multinational IT corporations. At BMC Group, Rex works out of the Chicago office, managing the VDR Operations for projects in both North and South America. He also works to drive best practices, efficiencies and operations at the company.
Prior to returning to the United States in 2006, Rex spent 5 years in Europe gaining experience managing multi-cultural operations. Specifically, he worked for 3 years at Convergys Corporation as the Operations Manager for Cisco Systems' European and Emerging Markets back-office operations in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This work entailed concurrently managing 5 programs, 7 international clients, and greater than 30 employees with an annual budget in excess of $2 million.
Before his time at Convergys/Cisco Systems, Rex worked as the European IT and Helpdesk Manager for Nu Skin, also in the Netherlands. This role entailed managing the European IT Support and Network administrations with 24/7 coverage, and allowed him to change the operation from a reactive operation to a proactive problem solving unit.
Rex lives in Chicago with his wife and is a runner and golfer. He also is an avid Chicago sports fan, supporting the Chicago Cubs baseball team and Chicago Bears American football team - though not necessarily in that order of priority.
