Alan Dalsass
Director of Legal Services
Based in New York , Alan leads operations for BMC Group's legal services division, which focuses on leveraging advanced technology and processes to the management of data in complex situations such as corporate restructuring, litigation and mergers and acquisitions. With over 11 years of professional experience in corporate restructuring, data management and telecommunications, Alan applies his distinctive perspective from law, business and consulting to find unique and effective solutions for BMC Group's clients.
During the course of his career, Alan has had the opportunity to lead or contribute in many of the nation's largest bankruptcies and distressed situations, including Dana Automotive, WR Grace, USA Commercial Mortgage, Cable & Wireless USA, Levitz, Exodus Communications, and HealthSouth. Alan has also worked on virtually all facets of restructuring cases, from pre-filing preparation, through Chapter 11 management, reorganization or sale and ultimately to liquidating trust wind-down operations.
Alan joined BMC Group from AlixPartners, where he was a Vice President. Prior to AlixPartners, Alan was an associate in the Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom's New York Corporate Restructuring group.
Alan earned his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College , and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School – Newark , where he was an editor for the Rutgers Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York .
