Stephenie Kjontvedt
Senior Manager

Stephenie Kjontvedt joined BMC Group in 2003 and is a Senior Manager in BMC Group’s New York office. With nearly 20 years of experience as a bankruptcy professional and originally from the West Coast, Stephenie worked for many years as an independent consultant for debtors and trustees. Immediately prior to joining BMC Group, Stephenie was the Manager of the Claims, Noticing and Solicitation Department for a nationally known claims administration consulting firm.

Stephenie has specialized knowledge in the complexities associated with balloting and solicitation and has developed significant relationships with the banks, brokerage firms, and proxy agents involved with disseminating information to and obtaining votes from beneficial owners of securities. Additionally, with experience in the distribution of cash and securities to general creditors and public debt and equity holders, Stephenie provides solutions and advice during the development stage of solicitation and distribution planning. At BMC Group she has held an active role in major cases and managed dozens of Plan solicitations.

Stephenie is currently a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
