Tauheed Williams
Director, Restructuring Sales
Mr. Williams joined BMC Group in 2001 after receiving his MBA at Pepperdine University . Prior to working at BMC Group he was a Business Unit Product Marketing Manager for a semiconductor company in Southern California . During his time at BMC Group, he acted as a Project Manager to lead a number of engagements, including Teligent, Inc., Fansteel, Inc., Doctors Community Healthcare, Exide Technologies, Inc., Dan River, Inc., Rhodes, Inc. and most recently the Dana Corporation case.
Tauheed's extensive experience in Chapter 11 Bankruptcies combined with his sales/marketing background allowed him to open BMC Group's Southeast Office in Atlanta in 2004. In this role, he actively marketed BMC Group within the bankruptcy community throughout the southeast and was able to use his business development skills to secure the Dan River, Inc., Rhodes, Inc., and Tropical Sportswear International Corp. bankruptcy matters for BMC Group.
In his current capacity as Director of Restructuring Sales, Tauheed is responsible for leading BMC Group's business development team and spearheading initiatives for the national business development and sales efforts for the firm.
Before earning his MBA, Mr. Williams attended the University of New Orleans . From there he joined the United States Navy, serving four years where he completed his undergraduate degree through the University of Phoenix . He was also the co-founder of Nexxt Step Management, a business advisory firm that provided business management services to athletes and individuals of high net worth. Mr. Williams is currently or has been a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, and Turnaround Management Association. He lives in suburban Atlanta with his wife and four children.
